The Land Of Fire & Ice
November 2017, 10 days and four friends in Iceland.
An early start drive from Sheffield to Manchester Airport and a quick 3 hour flight lead us to this country where you can escape from civilisation and immerse yourself in ancient traditions or discover the prehistoric and extreme landscape.
Wherever and however you choose to explore outside the Icelandic capital Reykjavik, you are introduced to an intense, dramatic and raw wilderness. Rivers which lead to magnificent fast flowing waterfalls, ragged fjords, active volcanoes, vibrant moss-grown lava fields, black sand beaches, erupting geysers, bubbling mud pools, mammoth glaciers and winding picturesque roads that lead you to so much more!
Everywhere you turn was truly a natural wonder amongst natural wonders - to experience something so grand, isolated and how graceful the light created the experience.
